The Mr. Lebanon 2026 pageant took place on October 18, 2026, officially crowning Abed El Wahab Semaan its winner. The winner previously placed first runner-up in 2024, making this his second time competing for the title.
Though there isn’t much information out about this year’s winner, we gathered a few things from the AI-generated introduction videos that were posted about the contestants. Not sure why they resorted to AI when they could have just filmed the contestants talking about themselves (which they did every year), but we digress.
The 27-year-old works as a fitness instructor and has a passion for an active lifestyle. Outside the gym, he enjoys swimming and horseback riding…and that’s about it.
In 2024, Semaan also represented Lebanon at Manhunt International, an international male modeling competition held in Ayutthaya, Thailand. He made it into the Top 20 out of 37 contestants.
Alongside Semaan’s win, Anthony Chaddad was named first runner-up, followed by Karim Al Jammal in second place. Samer Fakhoury secured third runner-up, while Jason Baaklini finished fourth runner-up. With his new title, Semaan is set to represent Lebanon at international pageants in 2027.
If you didn’t get the chance to watch the pageant, we think this video pretty much sums it up:
There’s also a noticeable difference in the attention devoted to women’s pageants compared to their male counterparts. Miss Lebanon comes with a level of scrutiny that goes beyond the competition itself.
Every year, contestants’ appearances become a talking point as social media mocks their looks and bodies. Often passed off as humor, the internet’s commentary turns into outright bullying as Lebanese women are picked apart for participating. It’s fair to ask why we’re still holding these pageants in the first place.
