OSB’s all day B4&After event

The Accounting Track at OSB, in collaboration with the Ernst and Young and Price waterhouse Coopers (PwC), is organizing a day-long, fun-filled event on April 27, 2012. Launching ceremony is at Maamari Auditorium.

Event description

– The participants will be divided into teams of four.
– The team members will have to collaborate together to perform activities (sports or otherwise) and answer questions relating to general knowledge, logic, the business world, accounting, and finance.
– Teams are free to access a variety of resources during the competition including the library, the internet, books, their friends, phones, laptops, etc.
– These activities will run for three to four hours. The two best performing teams will then compete head-to-head during the closing ceremony to determine the winning team!

Prize description

– Winning team: Each of the four team members will be offered a guaranteed employment opportunity with no entrance exams and no interviews at either Ernst and Young or PwC! This opportunity is exercisable upon graduation with the following conditions:
– Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 75, and
– Taking at least two accounting electives

– First runner up: Each of the four team members will be offered a guaranteed internship opportunity (of at least two months and subject to mutual agreement between the parties) at either Ernst and Young or PwC!
– Second runner up: Each of the four team members will be offered a shadow week at either Ernst and Young or PwC which entails taking part of that firms’ life for one whole week and getting to know and be known by the firm members!

– Launching ceremony on March 30, 2012, at 6:15 pm, at Maamari Auditorium where the event will be discussed in further detail.
– Registration: March 30, 2012, as of 9:00 pm until April 6, 2012, at 9:00 pm.
– Online submission of assignment: March 30, 2012, as of 9:00 pm until April 10, 2012, at 9:00 pm. Details to be discussed during the launching ceremony.
– Voting: April 11, 2012, as of 8:00 am until April 20, 2012, at 3:00 pm. Details to be discussed during the launching ceremony.
– Competition and closing ceremony on April 27, 2012.
