History of the Last Things Before the Last at Ashkal Alwan

Ashkal Alwan is hosting a symposium by Clément Cheroux and Akram Zaatari entitled “History of the Last Things Before the Last: Art as Writing History”. This symposium will give artists, in the presence of historians and intellectuals, a platform to discuss their continuing investment in the writing of history. The questions raised in this symposium will result in a publication to be released at a later date.

Places will be limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early to secure a seat. Simultaneous translation English/French and French/English will be available throughout the symposium.
