The Angels’ Share Screening at Metropolis Cinema

Metropolis Cinema will be screening the movie “The Angels’ Share” by Ken Loach, as part of the 19th European Film Festival.

Synopsis: Robbie is overwhelmed when he held his newborn son Luke for the first time. He swears that Luke will not lead the same stricken life he has. On community service he meets Rhino, Albert and Mo. Little did he imagine that turning to drink might change their lives – not cheap wine, but the best malt whiskies in the world. What will it be for Robbie? More violence or a new future? Only the angels know.
