Leymoun – Arab Dance Platform

As part of the ninth edition of BIPOD (Beirut International Platform of Dance), the Maqamat Dance Theatre will be hosting “Leymoun”, an Arab Dance Platform at the Babel Theatre and Al Madina Theatre.

Twenty-two dancers and choreographers from different Arab countries will be showcasing their latest dance creations over two days in Beirut. This year, a special focus on dancers and choreographers from Syria is planned.

This project is an exceptional opportunity for artists to meet and exchange ideas about dance and cultural issues and for the general public to discover acclaimed artists as well as emerging talent. The festival aims at establishing, celebrating and developing a contemporary dance scene in Beirut and the region.
