That Part of Heaven at Al Madina Theatre
As part of the BIPOD 2013 dance festival, the Al Madina Theatre will be hosting a performance of “That Part of Heaven”, a dancing show by the Maqamat Dance Theatre.
Five women survivors of the Civil War are struggling with their past beliefs, repeated disappointments, and losses. Their wounded bodies and souls tell the stories of their own insecurities, insomnias, anger, and fear from the other. The burden of violence keeps growing inside their bodies and minds.
