As part of the Miniatures performance platform, the Sunflower Theatre will be hosting a performance of the play “The Controller” based on Harold Pinter’s text and directed by Yamen Mohammad.
Synopsis: Within that raging hell, there is someone who believes that things are still the same. He honestly believes this. In his enforced, voluntary isolation, he knows and does not know. But he is convinced that he is a controller.
Controller in a Taxis transportation company. He is the center and the axis. All the company cars and their drivers are towering around him. He is the controller the director the regulator. The knower. Of all his creatures. Number by number. He calls someone. That reliant who is located far away, on the side. The new center. In his “free” car. And for what? Definitely for an order.
