Book Signing with Fares Al Thahaby at The Sunflower Theatre

As part of the Miniatures festival, the Sunflower Theatre will be hosting a signing of the theatrical plays “Last Syrian Exhale” and “Higher Neighing Horse” by Fares Al Thahaby.

In his last book, the author presents two theater performances from the time of the Arab Spring. Separately, they both talk about social, political and psychological oppression endured by persons in our communities.

In his first play “Last Syrian Exhale”, the author describes the oppression mechanism and its justification on how it affected our people through the One Party.

In his second play “Higher Neighing Horse”, he exposes the steps of the suppressing executioner since his beginning until his inevitable fall as assumed by the author.
