Les Ecrans Du Reel at Metropolis Cinema

The French Institute of Lebanon and the Metropolis Association are hosting the ninth edition of the film festival “Ecrans du Réel” that will be held at Metropolis Empire Sofil.

This year, like every other year, the festival will present a selection of recent documentaries, shown for the first time in Lebanon.

The films highlight different subjects such as: music (El Gusto, Viramundo), dance (O my Body!), and cinema (Golden Slumbers, Dreamers), as well as women portraits (In the Shadow Of a Man, Morning Fears, Night Chants, Damascus My First Kiss) activist chronicle (Tous au Larzac) but also a touching documentary about the practice of psychiatry in prison (Etre la) and two other passionate films about film itself (Pater, This is not a film).

Tickets: 6,000 LL per screening; 40,000 LL for festival pass
