Fareeq el Atrash is one of the premier hip hop acts coming out of the Middle East and Arab world today. Representing Beirut since 2006, their sound is distinguished by the dynamic lyrical chemistry of its rappers and seriously funky live band. True to classic hip hop tradition, Fareeq el Atrash blends home-grown Arabic vernacular and rhythmic flavor into their sound that fuses musical influences that range from jazz to rock.
