In this workshop the participants will:
– Understand the psychological origins of arts and theater
– Understand and put in practice the mental processes behind the art of acting
– Be assisted and self-orientated acting capacities and relative roles
– Practice, and get to know many overcoming the fear of acting, cathartic, and formal exercises necessary for the formation of an actor
– Understand the different approaches of different schools of acting.
– Understand the spectator mental and subjective point of view.
– Will be assisted to overcome their boundaries and release the actor
– Receive a guideline of references, examples, and a printed summary of the diagrams and the theoretical notions of the workshop.
– Watch different passages of acting, along a guided analysis to understand the background processes.
– Experience the collective collaboration and the factor of trust within a group, simulating and understanding the acting experience on a stage.
About the facilitator
Sami Fares is a psychoanalyst, a phytotherapist and a licensed hypnotherapist with a medical background working with a variety of patients. He is also a B.A. Holder in cinema and visual and scenic arts. Sami Fares has a variety of medical writings, philosophical and metaphysical publications about to come.
