De La Race en Amerique – The Philadelphia Speech of Barack Obama

From Oct 28 to Oct 30, 2010
8:30pm -> 9:30pm

Philadelphia, 10:30, March 18.
Barack Obama verifies that the speech in which he worked until 2:00 am has been stalled on the two teleprompters placed to the right and left of his desk and he begins… The next day, newspapers around the world welcomed a historic speech, the equal of Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream”.
That same text was so powerful, so poetic and re-conciliating it made Pliya Jose choose to stage it. The show was presented on the day of the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States of America January 20, 2009 at the Theatre du Rond Point in front of 800 people.
Since then the show has already played nearly 80 times in 14 countries in 4 different continents.
