Learn Embroidery For A Great Cause This Sunday, And Help A Group Of Disenfranchised Women While You’re At It
Tara W Kheit is a Tripoli based NGO that focuses on empowering women by teaching them handcraft techniques such as sewing, embroidery, crochet, and cross-stitching, in hopes that it will help them enhance their socio-economic conditions.
This holiday season, join Tara W Kheit on Sunday the 17th of December for their pop-up shop and embroidery workshop at Minus 1 in Gemmayze.
This crafty workshop will be held at Minus 1 in Gemayze and costs only $10; the first round will start at 11 AM, the second at 4 PM.
Tara W Kheit will also be exhibiting their capsule collection in collaboration with illustrator Rafik El Hariri as well as their own winter collection.
There will also be an embroidery station where the women will be embroidering on the spot, so bring your favorite items and decorate them with a cool design.
