The Self and The Other Workshop

This workshop will help better your understanding of self in the context of your own work.

What are your personal tendencies? Reflections? Fears? Emotional State? At the same time this workshop will allow you to experiment with writing form different perspectives (Some having you in them, and others in contexts where you might not exist). What would the world be like without having you in it? What parts of the world have you internalized?

This workshop is an intermediate spoken word poetry workshop in the meaning that attendees will pass through the full process of writing, editing, and performing a spoken word poem, while experimenting with in depths concepts in regards to “The Self and The Other”.
