The bar scene is always stirring and shifting around Beirut, and luckily for us there’s an extensive list of options to choose from depending on the mood. This time we’re feeling fancy, and so we’re taking you on this trip with us. Here is a list of bars and lounges in Beirut and around for your next dapper night out:

Bar du Port

With a drinks menu spreading over a whopping 14 pages, Bar Du Port not only satisfies on the aesthetic level, but also on the culinary one as well. The inspiration of the place’s design comes from the Beirut port-market which was once a farmer’s markets full of hustle and bustle.

Sax

Moody, tinted, and sexy is how we’d describe this Beirut hotspot. You can opt to sit on their custom-made bar or on the signature chairs, either way you’re in for a unique experience. They offer over 150 whiskeys and “a treasure trove of vodka”, so you can pretty much say you’ve hit the jackpot with this venue.

Centrale

This French restaurant and retractable bar was designed in an early 20th century Lebanese house which underwent 2 years of renovation. The place boasts of a wine cellar containing more than 1500 bottles of liquor so rest assured your cravings will be met. The mood and ambiance either flows towards lounge music or one of the different DJs they host every night.

Bar ThreeSixty at Le Gray

Trendy and suited for the majestic Le Gray hotel, Bar ThreeSixty not only offers a breathtaking view of Beirut’s skyline, but also an innovative list of their own drink creations. Their music nights start from Wednesday to Saturday, and each has a different vibe to accommodate each mood.

Korus Lounge

Be prepared for a night of smooth jazz and the sounds of the resident saxophonist, all the way from New York, Mark Allen when you enter this lounge. Everything is an elevated experience here; from the culinary delights to the tantalizing drinks, all of your senses will be stimulated.

Sapa

Excellent Peruvian cuisine meets an elegant indoor bar scene at this venue. Sapa is the place to be whether you’re there for small bites and cocktail drinks, or you’re ready to dance the night away. Be sure to try the Pisco Cinco, which is their own brand of Pisco (a traditional Peruvian alcohol) and the recipient of the Gold Medal in the Concours International de Bruxelles in 2014.

Améthyste at Phoenicia Hotel Beirut
