Jounieh Is Now Home To A Beautiful Free Public Beach

For the first time since the Lebanese civil war, the Jounieh municipality is opening up a FREE PUBLIC BEACH!

This wonderful step had apparently been in the works for the past year and was finally approved by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport just last month.



Today, the municipality is working towards cleaning the beach and beautifying it in time for its official opening next week.

Soon enough, Jounieh’s golden and sandy beach will be accessible again to anyone who wishes to enjoy it.



Amazing news, we hope other municipalities will follow suit!
