Breaking: Activist Khaldoun Jaber Released And Fined 100,000 LL
State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Peter Germanos has released the activist Khaldoun Jaber after a military police interrogation.
Jaber was partaking in the Baabda protest near the presidential palace yesterday when he was allegedly picked up by unknown security. He was missing for 12 hours and no information was given to lawyers nor his parents on his whereabouts.
A review of the bulletin revealed that there was a verdict issued in absentia by a judge who fined him 100,000 LL with no other details on the matter.
