Japanese Prosecutor Issues Arrest Warrant For Carlos Ghosn’s Wife
Japanese news reported earlier today that the Japanese prosecutors have issued a warrant for the arrest of Carole Ghosn, Carlos Ghosn’s wife.
The warrant was issued due to Carole Ghosn supposedly giving false testimony in court last April, NHK news reported.
Ghosn had been barred from meeting his wife while he was on bail in Japan because authorities believed she had been aiding him in covering his crimes.
This means that Carole, who is now in Lebanon with her husband, could be arrested if she returns to Japan.
Tokyo prosecutors on Tuesday obtained an arrest warrant for Carole Ghosn, wife of ex-Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn, who last month jumped bail and fled Japan.
