Lebanon’s Ice Hockey Team Is Finally A Member Of Lebanon’s Olympic Committee
Lebanon’s Ice Hockey Team has just landed a spot as the newest member of the Lebanese Olympic Committee, allowing them to be nominated to participate in the next Olympic games should they qualify.
The team is made up of more than 15 players of Lebanese origin. Montreal-based Charles El-Mir leads the dedicated group of Lebanese athletes who brought ice hockey to Lebanon through the founding of the Lebanese Ice Hockey Federation (LIHF), and its recognition by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Congrats!
