Qatar Bans Travelers From Lebanon As Coronavirus Fears Rise

Earlier today, Qatar’s Ministry of Health announced that travelers from 14 countries would be banned from entering Qatar due to fears of the Coronavirus spreading further.

The ban covers Lebanon, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, and Thailand. Flights to and from Italy had already been suspended previously.

As the number of Coronavirus-infected Qatar residents reached 15, nationals and residents were called upon to avoid all but essential travel at this time.
