Bread and Alley synopsis:
Returning from an errand to buy bread, a boy finds a menacing dog blocking his way through the alley he must go down to get home. Frightened by the dog’s barking, he asks various passers-by for help but no-one pays him any attention, and he must find a solution all by himself.
The Taste of Cherry synopsis:
Middle-aged Mr.Badii is planning to commit suicide and desperately seeks anyone to assist him – he has already dug out the grave in the mountains, but the assistant will have to bury him when he will do the deed. He asks Kurd soldier, Afghan seminarian, but everyone refuses for some reason leaving Mr Badii to contemplate his fate.
