BHV Jnah Is Closing Down

Once a widely-visited department store that made a name for itself in the world of fashion, beauty, houseware, and more, BHV Jnah is sadly closing down.

The local chain store took to their official Facebook account to announce their indefinite shutting down amid one of the country’s worst economic crises.

BHV Jnah was the first branch of the French department store to land in Lebanon, and has since been a popular destination offering a wide range of brands and items for shoppers from all over.

Today, this essential part of Beirut’s retail scene is bidding us farewell, alongside many other local businesses and institutions that have been forced to bear the brunt of the crisis.

You can still pay BHV one last visit, and make use of their clearance sale, happening from July 15 till July 31.

Could we see more local and international stores closing down in the near future?
