Minister of Information Manal Abdel Samad Resigns From Lebanese Government
BREAKING: Lebanese Minister of Information Manal Abdel Samad has submitted her resignation 5 days after the Beirut blast that decimated the capital.
This comes nearly a week after the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Nassif Hitti resigned last week who cited “the government’s performance on a number of issues” as reason for his resignation.
In her resignation speech, Abdel Samad said their hopes for reforms were too high and unattainable.
