Garlic “Without A Trace” Nominated For Best Product of 2021

It looks like we can finally enjoy our shawarma with extra toum without having to worry about lingering heartburn and garlic breath!

Garlidoux, a product created by four Lebanese men, is an award-winning project that is working to get rid of residue garlic breath and indigestion. Their work landed them the Asia Food Innovation Award back in 2019.

Garlidoux has also won “Product of the Year” award for 2021, organized by the Lausanne Index Prize, a Netherlands-based organization that evaluates the quality of food products all over the world.

Their plant was located in Karantina near the port of Beirut and they suffered severe damages to their production site during the August 4 blast. Eight months later, their activity has thankfully been revived! CEO Khalil Abourrousse claims that they are working on expanding and looking for foreign partners until they can start producing again.
