7 Initiatives That Will Handle Your Recycling Around Lebanon
It’s never too late to go green. Taking the first step may seem like a challenge, but there are lots of things you can do with the help of amazing eco-conscious initiatives to better the environment and lessen your carbon footprint.
Here are some places that will pick up your recycling around Lebanon:
1. Live Love Recycle
Plastic, cardboard, nylon, paper, metals – you name it! You can check out this link to download their mobile app. You just put in your address, tell them what you’re recycling, and they’ll come pick it up for FREE!
Due to the current fuel crisis, they’re now operating at 60% capacity

This NGO was established in 1985 to help those affected during the Civil War. They’ve also dedicated a great deal to recycling and set up different collection points where you can drop off your recyclables (including plastic, cans, cardboard, and paper). You can find the drop off bins in Jounieh, Clemenceau, or their headquarters in Jisr Al Wati.
3. Ecoservlb
A growing waste issue is E-waste, and that’s exactly what this NGO is trying to solve! If you have any electronics you want to dispose of, you can drop them off at any Berytech branch that you can find on Google Maps. They also have a bunch of special bins scattered across Beirut where you can safely dispose of your E-waste!
4. Recycle Lebanon
This initiative is turning their recyclables into stand up paddle boards and fibres for product ecodesign. This is done through cigarette recycling! Cigarette plastics contain a lot of toxins, so once collected, you can drop them off at Ecosouk in Hamra and watch the magic happen!

A sorting center located in Tabarja with a passionate team that wants to make Lebanon greener! They’ve got a cool sorting van that you can visit and drop off your recyclables. It is available 24/7, so drop by whenever you want!
