Our Fave TV Commercial Jingles From The 80s-90s

Remember when we used to watch television and get hit with a tonne of hilarious and catchy commercials? Now we just hit “skip ad” as many times as possible.

Here are some popular commercial jingles from the 1990s that we still can’t get out of our head! Comment with any we may have missed.


1. “Kassatly Chtaura” Liquor



It’s French, was pretty creative for its time, and promotes liquor. What’s not to love?


2. “Al Wadi Al Akhdar” Canned Food



At some point you start to think, “why didn’t they consider making this into an actual song?”


<3. "La Vache Qui Rit" Cheese



It’s the music here that gets stuck in your head, not the lyrics.


4. “Clip” Cream



We still sing this song whenever we spot a tube of CLIP.


5. “Rayovac” Batteries



Rayovac batteries sucked, but no one can beat this jingle. Also: who remembers the many “remixes” we made during school?


6. Nido Milk



The epic and most well-known commercial for all of us growing up in Lebanon is undoubtedly Nido’s.


7. Rans Car Rental



Admit it, we all wanted to rent a car because of this commercial.


8. Hyundai



We’re still wondering what the hell was going on in that commercial but we loved it!
