This Initiative Is Offering $1 Meals To Those In Need

Dedicated to helping struggling families in Lebanon, Tabkhit Ezzo is a Beirut-based initiative that is offering $1 meals to those in need.

Tabkhit Ezzo‘s Lebanese home-cooked meals are served hot, made with love, and sold at extremely affordable prices. The Wassef Souad Sawaf association is running this initiative and has been providing hundreds of meals per day to those in need over the past 10 years.

Their menu includes hearty and freshly prepared dishes on the daily, including favorites like mloukhiye, koussa, and fasoulya to name a few. Their lunch and dinner dishes can last up to 48 hours in the fridge, which they serve from 12 PM until 8 PM. Tabkhit Ezzo is making sure that struggling individuals and families have access to their daily nutritional needs.

Every meal is priced at $1, and for every two meals purchased, a free one will go to someone in need. The initiative is currently based in Beirut, but they plan to spread their mission across Lebanon. Their website is updated on a biweekly basis, so you can check out the meals they will be offering for the next two weeks by clicking here.
