Lebanese Women’s Volleyball Team Wins West Asia Championship

The Lebanese women’s volleyball national team just won the final match against Jordan in the West Asia Volleyball Championship, which was held in the Palace Stadium in Al Hussain Youth City Complex in Amman, after an impressive winning streak throughout the competition.



The national team included Iman Safa, Yasmine Tamer, Celine Al-Shaalani, Reem Al-Ali, Mira Adra, Lea Shabib, Sarah Akari, Andrea Abi Saab, Marella Al-Juraidi, Memo Sheikho, Aya Matar and Karen Moukarzel.

Their efforts managed to stun spectators as they maintained an admirable performance, scoring 25-13, 25-18, and 25-14 against their final contenders. The team captain, Mira Adra, received the trophy from Princess Ayah Bint Faisal, the President of the Jordanian Volleyball Federation.
