The Clinical Research Institute, in collaboration with the Faculty of Health Sciences, invites you to attend a seminar on Data Analysis by FHS Assistant Professor Miran Jaffa.

This seminar is one of the ‘Essentials of Research Study Design and Analysis’ series that is intended to enhance the skills of AUB research community in different research study designs and data analysis.

Objectives:
– Discuss approaches for numerical and graphical presentations of the data.
– Introduce tests for comparing means of two groups using paired t-test and two sample t-tests.
– Present tests for independence of binomial proportions using Chi-Square and Fisher’s exact Tests.
– Go over McNemar’s test for binomial proportions of matched samples.
– Introduce SPSS, a commonly used statistical package and demonstrate some of the presented tests using real data sets.

Special Formula:– Deadline for registration: March 1, 2011.
– Hands-on and interactive session.
-Two ANCC credits will be granted.
