We remember how it was all the hype back in 2016, and everyone thought it was the most outrageous thing to ever happen to the make up community. Well…look at us now.

The memes were top tier back then, and we’d probably still laugh at them now. The last VCR was manufactured back in 2016, and it was major news. MAJOR. Before we had streaming platforms like Netflix, VCRs were used to record television broadcasts or to play back cassettes.

2016 was actually a shitstorm of a year. Even though we’d prefer going back ANY DAY over whatever the fuck has been going on from 2019 until now. Some highlights from that year: Brexit, “Damn Daniel”, Killer clowns, the Mannequin challenge, and Myriam Klink getting a vote in the Lebanese presidential elections.
Is this even real life? These could not have possibly been almost 8 YEARS AGO. But at least we know that no matter how much time goes by, our presidential elections are always a shit show.
