Dine Then Dip At This New Seaside Restaurant in Jbeil!

Jbeil’s newest seaside restaurant is combining two of your favorite summer activities: eating and swimming. Papillon, located off the coast of Jbeil near Grecco, offers uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean and catch-of-the-day platters.

Some standout dishes from their menu include the watermelon carpaccio and crumbled feta, their own version of every Lebanese person’s favorite summer treat. This playful twist on a traditional carpaccio is paired with feta, mint, honey, and pistachios.

They also serve up a range of delightful seafood platters, including the grilled octopus, sautéed with truffle oil and served with almonds on a bed of mashed chickpeas. For something more filling, you can try the orzo paella, made with squid ink orzo, seafood bisque, calamari, octopus, shrimp, and mussels.

If you decide to order an appetizer, main course, and dessert, you can expect an estimated total of $65–$70 per person. It all depends on the main you choose, but they have a range of options that fall below that if you’re keeping it light.

Here’s what the price ranges look like based off their e-menu:

Appetizers: $16-$28

Main course: $29-65

Dessert: $7.5-$18

The stunning destination is right by the shore, so you can definitely kick off your shoes and enjoy the sand between your toes while you eat. And the best part is that after lunch, you can lounge by the waves and take a dip to cool off.

The restaurant also makes for an excellent sunset destination. If you’ve been itching for a new sunset spot, this is the place for you.
