Au6ème: Beirut’s Hidden Dining Gem for 7-Course Set Menus

We always find ourselves blankly staring at menus, trying to figure out what we want to eat. There’s actually a place in Beirut that makes you worry less about what you’re ordering and more about enjoying your evening.

Au6ème in Achrafieh keeps it simple with a 7-course set menu, so no stressing over choices.

Lifelong friends Chris Karam and Sary Najjar actually came up with the concept in their own living room, which eventually turned into the private dining experience that is Au6ème. The place that once hosted their intimate hangouts with loved ones has grown into a spot that’s perfect for anyone looking for private dinners with friends, a romantic night out, or even a small get-together.

Open on weekends, the place welcomes people seeking good company and a love for food. They take tables of 2 or more, but if you have a bigger group of 14+, you can book a private night any day of the week.

The fixed 7‑course set menu experience changes with the seasons and highlights things like Neapolitan pizzas, char‑grilled meats, and other seasonal creations that they might come up with.

The vibe is cozy but polished, making it a spot where you feel comfortable lingering over all seven courses without it feeling over the top.

Au 6ème is essentially about showing up and letting the evening unfold. You don’t have to plan, stress, or decide. The food, the flow, and the experience are all taken care of. It’s the kind of place you return to when you want a dinner that feels special, effortless, and truly enjoyable.
