Sushi lovers in Lebanon have probably been drooling over the push pop sushi that’s been making rounds on social media. The trend started when Suka Sushi in New York City dropped the push-up sushi tube, and if you’ve been wanting to try it (without spending a couple thousand dollars to go to NYC), this spot in Lebanon just dropped their version.
In case you’re confused, this is what the viral push pop sushi looks like:
Sushi Lover‘s Express is a beloved sushi spot with locations in Hamra and Choueifat. After the push pop sushi went viral, they were quick to bring it to Lebanon. It’s basically a tube of layered sushi that you push from the bottom to eat. It also comes with a separate tube of soy sauce that you pour into the sushi.
The push pop sushi is available for dine in, delivery, or takeaway at both Hamra and Choueifat branches. They might be opening a new branch in Beirut very soon, so keep an eye out!
