Jeyetna Launches Initiative to Provide Menstrual Products to Displaced Women Across Lebanon

As displacement and emergency shelter conditions continue to affect communities across Lebanon, the justice collective Jeyetna has launched an initiative aimed at supporting women and girls with access to essential menstrual products during these uncertain times.

The initiative focuses on distributing both reusable and disposable menstrual products tailored to different shelter situations. These include pads, tampons, reusable pads, underwear, hot water bottles, and informational materials to help women manage their menstrual health safely and comfortably. In addition to distributing physical supplies, Jeyetna will also send cash transfers to focal points across the country to purchase menstrual products locally and ensure faster access where they are needed most.

The effort is being carried out in partnership with Riwaq, Beit Aam, MWA, and Multaqa El Tullab, forming a decentralized, community-led response to reach women in shelters across Lebanon.

Those who wish to support the initiative can contribute through in-kind donations at Riwaq (cash and products) and Beit Aam (products). Donations can also be sent via Whish transfer at +961 7 6682025, or through Twint and Revolut at +41793167107.
