Despite Collapsed Bridges, Southerners Are Still Finding a Way Across

As Lebanon enters a 10-day truce, videos circulating from South Lebanon show residents continuing to move across damaged infrastructure, as key routes begin to partially reopen despite widespread destruction.

The Qasmiyeh Bridge, a vital coastal link to Tyre, was reopened, allowing vehicles that had been stuck to finally pass despite the severe damage. Footage captures cars inching forward on a single lane.

At the historic Tarfalsieh Bridge, obliterated by enemy airstrikes, locals cross on foot over shattered remnants to reach their villages. The video below depicts families carefully traversing collapsed sections, determined to reconnect amid the rubble.

Even with roads broken and bridges gone, people are still finding their way across, refusing to let the destruction prevent them from reaching their homes and villages in South Lebanon.
