AUB Outdoors Has Been Cancelled for 2026
If you’ve been looking forward to AUB Outdoors this May, the event’s official Instagram page has just announced the cancellation of this year’s edition.
AUB Outdoors 2026, often referred to as Lebanon’s “Coachella” weekend, will no longer be taking place, as the organizers cited ongoing regional circumstances and the current situation in the country.
In a statement shared online, the team said moving forward with an event centered around celebration and togetherness would not reflect the values they stand for at this time. They also noted that the safety, well-being, and emotional state of their community had to come first.
The team thanked everyone who supported this year’s edition and expressed hope that AUB Outdoors will return once again.
Held annually at the American University of Beirut, it has become one of the most anticipated spring events in Lebanon. It’s known for its music, vibrant atmosphere, and packed campus crowds.
Though its 2026 edition has been cancelled, we hope to see AUB Outdoors return next year. More importantly, we hope to see Lebanon and its people in better circumstances long before then.
