During such difficult times, Lebanese consumers continue adapt to a more price-conscious reality. This is why Tawfeer is introducing a retail concept designed to meet this shift with clarity and purpose.
Built around the promise of “Buy More, Pay Less,” the highly-anticipated Tawfeer MAX is redefining how households approach everyday shopping through a new buying logic centered on smarter purchasing and long-term savings.

Positioned between retail convenience and wholesale savings, Tawfeer MAX offers a model that makes bulk buying accessible, practical, and rewarding for a wide range of customers. The concept comes in response to changing consumer behavior in Lebanon, where economic pressures have pushed shoppers to plan more carefully and look for better value with every purchase. It also supports more efficient economic circulation by encouraging smarter, higher-volume buying.
Tawfeer MAX follows a value-driven model that offers some of the lowest prices in the market all year long, without temporary promotions, membership fees, loyalty cards, or limited-time discounts. The store follows a clear three-tier Price Value System (PV1, PV2, PV3), where the more you buy, the more you save.
To break it down: PV1 offers low prices by the piece, PV2 gives lower prices when buying in bulk, and PV3 offers the best value when purchasing by the carton. In simple terms, it’s cheap by the piece, cheaper by quantity, and cheapest by the carton. This allows households (not just businesses) to access wholesale-level prices for household essentials.
The concept is designed to serve a wide audience, from families managing tighter household budgets to small businesses looking to optimize their cost structures.
Spanning 2,000 square meters and offering more than 5,500 products, Tawfeer MAX combines supermarket convenience with wholesale pricing. The new Jbeil branch will serve more than 300,000 people across Jounieh, Jbeil, Batroun, and nearby areas.
Explaining the concept, Rami Bitar, CEO of Tawfeer, said: “Tawfeer MAX was created in response to a clear shift in consumer behavior. Today, customers are more deliberate in how they shop, and they are actively looking for ways to make their money go further. With MAX, we are offering a model that directly supports this mindset, giving customers access to better pricing through bulk purchasing, without compromising on quality or choice.”
The in-store experience reflects this philosophy, with a simplified layout that prioritizes efficiency and ease of navigation. Customers can expect a wide assortment of high-demand products, larger pack sizes, and strong private label offerings, all curated to support smarter, more cost-effective purchasing.
Bitar added: “Our ambition is to establish Tawfeer MAX as a leading value retail destination in Lebanon. As we continue to grow, our focus remains on delivering consistent savings, enhancing the customer experience, and expanding our reach to serve more communities.”
Since the launch of its first branch at Cascada Mall in the Bekaa at the end of 2025, the concept has demonstrated strong traction, with growing customer adoption, repeat visits, and increasing basket sizes reflecting its relevance in today’s market conditions.
As part of its ongoing expansion, Tawfeer is preparing to open the Tawfeer MAX branch in Jbeil on May 21, 2026 at 5 PM, marking the next step in bringing this new low-price retail model closer to consumers across Lebanon.
Visitors attending the opening event will also get the chance to participate in the “Fill Your Cart Race,” a high-energy challenge where participants compete to fill their carts with the highest possible value within a set time and budget. The “Fill Your Cart Race” will continue throughout the weekend until May 24 at Tawfeer MAX Jbeil.
