Candyfornia Just Opened a Barbie-Approved Summer Spot in Jbeil
Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse is real, and it’s now open in Jbeil.
One of Lebanon’s dreamiest spots, Candyfornia first launched in Monot in 2016, moved to Mar Mikhael in 2022, and has now announced a new outpost in Fidar.
This spot is known for embodying the 2016 ultra-saturated California Tumblr aesthetic, but it also draws on those Palm Springs pool culture aesthetics from the 1970s. It feels less like a traditional sports or beach club and more like a perfectly curated mood board for the perfect summer.
We did say that 2026 is the new 2016, so why not bring back a 2016 Beirut classic?
Apart from the retro sun loungers and pink-framed deck chairs, you’ll find their iconic pink-tiled pool filled with inflatables. There’s also an all-red padel court with a full monochrome setup. The main hangout spot is at the repurposed shipping container-turned-bar where you can order all their colorful drinks and bites.
The best part is that it’s pet-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged bestie with you to spend the day.
