La Nuit des Musées Returns with Free Entry to 20+ Museums Across Lebanon

After making its long-awaited comeback last year, La Nuit des Musées is returning once again, giving visitors free entry to more than 20 museums across Lebanon for one special evening.

First launched by the Ministry of Culture in 2014, La Nuit des Musées quickly became one of the country’s biggest cultural events, encouraging people to discover Lebanon’s museums after dark. Following a years-long hiatus, the nationwide event officially returned in 2025 and is now back for another edition.

Taking place on July 11 from 5 PM until 11 PM, it’s a great opportunity to explore museums you’ve never visited before or revisit old favorites, all free of charge. Beyond museum visits, you can also join guided tours through historic neighborhoods and enjoy unique cultural experiences throughout the evening.

Beyond being an enjoyable night, the event shines spotlights the institutions preserving Lebanon’s history, art, and identity. From ancient archaeological discoveries to contemporary exhibitions, these museums safeguard stories that might otherwise be forgotten.

Events like this also make culture more accessible, encouraging people of all ages to engage with Lebanon’s heritage. It also helps ensure these spaces remain vibrant for future generations.
