Every now and then, a local story reminds us how much Lebanese people look out for one another. That’s why we’re sharing the story of this sweet 3ammo and his hair salon in Beirut.
Located in Ain El Remmeneh on Pierre Gemayel Street, 3ammo Elias has been in the business for almost 60 years. For decades, he welcomed generations of customers into his small neighborhood salon, becoming a familiar face to many.
After TikTok creator @tatianaa.antoun posted about his business, Lebanese women have been encouraging others to pay him a visit and help keep his long-running business going. As the cost of running a small business continues to rise, 3ammo Elias says he simply wants to keep his salon open and continue doing what he’s loved for nearly six decades instead of staying home.
The videos about 3ammo Elias, which you can find on @tatianaa.antoun‘s page, amassed well over 10 million views. The overwhelming response reached far beyond social media. Among those moved by his story was Rammouz Construction, who offered to fully renovate his entire salon free of charge.

The renovation is currently underway! Here’s a video of their team giving 3ammo Elias’ salon the makeover it deserves:
If you’ve been thinking of getting a haircut, consider paying 3ammo Elias a visit. It’s a small gesture that can make a big difference to someone who’s spent nearly 60 years serving his community.
