The popular restaurant chain inspired by a famous Swiss counterpart is opening a new steakhouse in Lebanon, promising a more premium dining experience. Here’s what we know about Simple Steakhouse, now open in Khalde.
Simple Butter is now expanding into a steakhouse concept centered around its signature butter steaks. While it’s not yet clear whether existing branches will be transformed into steakhouses, the new concept appears to be a separate dining experience. Its Khalde location rebranded as Simple Steakhouse, with different lettering and a slightly different shade of green.
The menu is fairly broad, with steaks at the center alongside seafood, chicken, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pasta. Starters include bone marrow with chimichurri, Black Angus beef tartare with crispy chips, truffle bruschetta, and dynamite shrimp.
The steak selection includes a beef fillet with Café de Paris sauce, a 350g rib-eye with a choice of sauce, a 300g Black Angus steak with bone marrow, and a 700g T-bone served with baked potato and your choice of sauce.
Beyond steaks, they also serve grilled salmon, black tiger shrimp, chicken dishes, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and pasta. The Beef Sando comes with 150g of Angus beef, dynamite sauce, and fries.
Was this the plan all along?
