A Free Open-Air Medical Day Is Happening in Beirut, Here Are the Details

Our favorite community initiatives are the ones that make essential services a little more accessible, especially when it comes to healthcare. The Bader Movement is hosting a free public health day in Beirut under the slogan “Bader Min Ajl Sohtak”, giving people the chance to consult specialized doctors across a range of medical fields at no cost.

The initiative is organized in collaboration with a group of specialized doctors, the Faculty of Medicine at Beirut Arab University, HEAL, and the Said Association for Colorectal Cancer Awareness.

Doctors will be available for free consultations in 10 medical specialties:

  • General Surgery
  • Pediatrics
  • Orthopedics
  • Ophthalmology
  • Family Medicine
  • Cardiology
  • Endocrinology & Diabetes
  • Urology
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Pulmonology

The free health day will take place on Sunday, October 11, from 9 AM to 2 PM at Rene Moawad Garden in Sanayeh, Beirut. For registration and inquiries, you can contact Bader Movement via WhatsApp or phone at +961 3 949 536.

If you or someone you know has been putting off a medical consultation, this could be a good opportunity to get checked without the cost of a consultation getting in the way. Make sure to share this free medical day in Beirut with someone who might need it.
