Arna’s Children

Juliano Mer Khami’s documentary on his mother, Arna, an activist against the Israeli occupation who founded an alternative education system for Palestinian children. In the last years of her life Arna led a small theater group for Palestinian children on the West Bank. Her son Juliano, who directed the group, used his camera for all those years to film the rehearsals and performances of the plays.
