Brave Heart Fund Walkathon at AUB

The Brave Heart Fund is organizing a walkathon around Green Field in AUB to mark Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week (February 7-14).

Around 400 preschoolers aged 2 to 6-years-old, from daycares Le Cocon, Campus des Puces, Chiccolandia and City International School, will walk around the AUB Greenfield, carrying red balloons, flags and hearts dedicated to children suffering from Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). The children will also be carrying awareness messages about CHD.

The children will walk to create awareness about CHD and show their support for underprivileged children undergoing treatment at the Children’s Heart Center, AUBMC. They’ll also be raising funds through various activities at their daycares, thus helping the Brave Heart Fund realize its mission that “no child should die of heart disease because of a lack of funds”.
