Carousel After-Party at Yukunkun

Join Yukunkun for an after-party celebrating the art opening of UK painter Tom Young just down the street at the recently renovated 120-year old mansion, Villa Paradiso.

The music for this amazing after exhibition event honors the memory of the house and the musical taste of the artist.

Three local DJ favorites – Ribal Rayes (VL Records), Ernesto Chahoud (BGC) and Brother Jackson (Beats and Breath) – will sail through a range of genres , from 40’s and 50’s pre-Revolution Afro-Cuban, and early 60’s Bossa Nova to begin with – moving quickly towards the more progressive Afro-influenced musical dance music from the 1960’s to the present that you’ve come to know from these DJ’s.
