Charles Rizk Launches New Book “Between the Lebanese Anarchy and Syrian Dislocation”

Former Justice Minister Charles Rizk will launch his new book, “Between the Lebanese Anarchy and Syrian Dislocation”, during a panel discussion at Villa Sursock.

Rizk’s new book, published by Dar Annahar, explores critical turning points in Lebanon’s modern history, as well as the key political milestones that took place in the country and the region.

Former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, Former MP Samir Frangieh, and journalist Sarkis Naoum will be part of the discussion panel which will be moderated by Dr. Marwan Iskandar.

In his book, Dr. Rizk highlights several stages of the Lebanese political life, in addition to the events that influenced its course, such as the Palestinian presence and Syrian tutelage. The book also tackles the period that follows the Syrian withdrawal and the repercussions of the Syrian Revolution.
