Chateau Nakad

Joseph Nakad, the father of four brothers, founded Nakad Winery in 1923. The winery continues to be a family business.

The winery is located in the rich Bekaa Valley, in a town called Jdita. The altitude of the establishment is 900 meters above sea level, and the temperature varies between a minimum of – 10°C in the winter and a maximum of 30°C in the summer.
Governed by its location close to very fertile agricultural sites, this village had a historical tradition in producing wine. In fact excavation revealed that the winery has been built over the ruins of a Bronze Age winery.

Nakad Winery with a total production of seven hundred tons a year is made from these noble kinds of grapes.
