Cinema Mondial Tour at Metropolis Cinema

The Metropolis Association in partnership with Naas (Network of Arab arthouse screens) is proud to present the third edition of the Cinema Mondial Tour in Lebanon that will take place at Metropolis Empire Sofil. The Cinema Mondial Tour is a program initiated by the Hubert Bals Fund and the IDFA Fund. Its aim is to support the realization of film projects from developing countries and screen the completed films in the Netherlands.

The program started in Central and Southern Africa in 2010. It is now coming to the Arab region in its third edition thanks to the collaboration with NAAS, the network of independent art-house cinemas and cultural institutions located in Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Tunisia and united by the common goal to develop cinema culture across the Arab world.

Four feature films and three documentaries from Chile, Iran, China, Serbia, Iraq, Syria and South Africa will be showing exclusively in the program, giving viewers a new vision of the world today.
