As part of the Les Ecrans Du Reel festival, Metropolis Cinema is hosting a screening of the documentary “Damascus My First Kiss” by Lina Alabed.

Synopsis: Syria is a country of multi-nationalities, and a place where different religions and minorities live together; boys and girls, men and women, with their differences they shape the spirit of this country.

What is the actual role and margin of freedom, women have in a male-dominated society? And how that reflects on her sexual consciousness and her relationship with her body?
