Empty Yard Experiment at Martyrs’ Square

As part of the Fete De La Musique 2013, the Dubai-based band Empty Yard Experiment will be performing live at Martyrs’ Square. EYE (Empty Yard Experiment) was formed in 2006.

The band features an innovative mélange of musical landscapes, inspired by Middle Eastern culture and politics, intertwined with a novel approach to visual expression of the musical art form. Its sonic creations are effectively a precarious amalgam of styles, of which post-rock, as well as the alternative and progressive varieties of the genre feature most prominently.
